and silver jacketed example of this classic, automatic pocket cigarette
lighter, with improved, double claw mechanism.
German, ca. 1940's - 1950's.
Beautiful, high relief
"repousse" decoration throughout, with a very detailed depiction of
the ocean liner on front and a classic, Dutch landscape on back.
The S.S. WATERMAN, a Dutch,
trans-Atlantic ocean liner, was active between 1947 and 1963.
Marked on bottom: MYLFLAM,
Pat. (Patent).
3 small Dutch hallmarks on back of
jacket: logo, HH, 90.
Excellent condition, with just
slight signs of use.
