| offered is a fabulous 1935 art deco enamel mylflam "perfectos" pocket petrol automatic lighter. the gold plated lighter features an unusual press button automatic mechanism - please see 2nd photo. the button is located toward the back of the mechanism where snuffer arm mount sits. this is the only lighter model i know of with such an unusual automatic action. the mechanism was invented in 1927 by heinrich maltner of offenbach germany. the underside of the lighter is marked "perfectos" DRGM patented in germany as shown. mylflam was an important manufacturer of automatic lighters incl... | |
