Amazing find and in this condition, possibly one of a kind! Vintage Fritz Von Erich (Jack Adkisson) Zippo lighter in NEW condition. Fritz was a big smoker and had Boyd Pierce customize this lighter for his Dallas, Texas-based wrestling promotion, which he officially named Southwest Sports (better known as Big Time Wrestling & World Class Championship Wrestling). Fritz was known for distributing zippo’s lighters which said “ Taken By Force From Fritz Von Erich”. According to the markings, this lighter was made in 1970 and pre-dates those other, more common lighters. Adkisson’s story, as well as his kid’s, are well documented in the film, “The Iron Claw” starring Zack Efron as Kevin Von Erich and Colt McCallany as Fritz. Lighter is boxed in its original box and appears to be new (vintage but unused w/ no wear). Incredible collectible from an amazing pro wrestling collection. (Condition: Brand New)
