Ronson Touch Tip Lighter & Clock Combination. Extremely Rare lighter. Made in 1938 for one year only. Ronson plant was used for the war effort after 1938. When they resumed lighter production after WW II they used more modern production techniques to stamp metal lighters rather than hand crafted lighters. Only ever seen one other lighter like this ever. It is in excellent condition. Both the lighter and clock work.
This auction is for a vintage 1938 Zippo lighter in original condition. The lighter looks to have never been used. I am not 100% positive but that is how it looks to me.The lighter comes with its original gift box and paperwork. The chimney has 14 holes. The hinge has 4 barrels. The wheel spins freely. There is no strike when the wheel is turned. The case lid does not wiggle when opened. It is a crisp case.
